Animated series adaptation of the video game 'Samurai Warriors 4'. Many clans strive for dominance in feudal Japan, seeking to become Shogun of a unified realm. Hideyoshi Toyotomi (voice of Hideo Ishikawa) is the first to achieve this, but his reign is short-lived. Betrayed and killed, his young son and heir Hideyori (Kensho Ono) is left in the hands of Hideyoshi's scheming advisors, but the Tokugawa clan do not intend on letting him succeed to the Shogunate. War erupts once again and two brothers of the Sanada clan, Yukimura (Takeshi Kusao) and Nobuyuki (Daisuke Ono), find themselves on opposing sides of the conflict.
