Japanese anime feature about the unlikely relationship that develops between two classmates. When an unnamed social recluse (voice of Mahiro Takasugi) discovers a diary belonging to his extravert classmate, Sakura Yamauchi (Lynn), he becomes the only person to know about her terminal illness. Agreeing to honour her wish that her illness be kept secret, the pair get to know one another and despite their vastly different outlooks on life they embark on a journey of love and self-discovery.
