Breck Eisner directs this remake of George A. Romero's 1973 horror classic. The small Iowa town of Ogden Marsh epitomises the American Dream: a picture-perfect community of happy, law-abiding citizens. But after a series of horrific incidents it becomes apparent to Sheriff David Dutton (Timothy Olyphant) that something is infecting the citizens of Ogden Marsh with psychopathic insanity, and an ordinary night turns into a fight for survival for four young friends as they struggle desperately to get out of town alive.
