Joe Pritchard (Rheon) was convicted of her murder but no body was ever found and no motive for the crime was ever identified. When Joe, still claiming to have amnesia, is released on parole, Sharon is determined to finally get answers, including the location of her daughter's body. Meanwhile, Cat Donato (Roach), a reporter who was friends with Ela, returns to write about the case and truths long hidden are finally revealed.
