Johannes Roberts writes and directs this sci-fi action horror based on the popular video game series. In 1998, orphan Claire Redfield (Kaya Scodelario) returns to Raccoon City, which has been left decimated by the sinister experiments of the Umbrella Corporation. She searches for her estranged brother Chris (Robbie Amell), while he leads the Special Tactics and Rescue Service Alpha Team on a rescue mission to the Spencer Mission. As the team battle hordes of zombies inside the mansion, Claire joins forces with rookie police officer Leon S. Kennedy (Avan Jogia) to finally expose the dark secrets of the Umbrella Corporation.
