Summary

This is a story born out of necessity and wrought into literature, a search for the poetics of trauma. When her older sister falls down the stairs and dies, after starving and isolating herself for years, a spark is lit. The author's anger surfaces. Becoming both a narrator and a prosecutor, she excavates her childhood memories and turns them into a labyrinthian story. She recreates the abusive universe governed by her departed father Holbein, but casts a spell over it, leading to revenge and wicked laughter.
